It’s not surprising that nearly a quarter of a million people a year choose to have a rhinoplasty. The nose is a prominent feature and the central focus of the face. In many cases, correcting this one feature can create an overall more balanced and attractive facial appearance. Cosmetic nose surgery, more commonly known as a “nose job”, can improve the appearance and proportions of the nose, enhance facial harmony, and increase self-confidence. It may also correct nasal abnormalities and improve breathing problems. At The Egrari Plastic Surgery Center in Bellevue, Dr. Egrari performs Seattle rhinoplasty procedures with precision and skill to help you achieve your cosmetic goals.

As arguably the best rhinoplasty surgeon in Seattle, Dr. Egrari has been in practice for more than 23 years. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery as a plastic surgeon and by The American Board of Surgery as a general surgeon. Dr. Egrari’s extensive training, technical skills, and impressive, natural-looking results have placed him among the top cosmetic surgeons practicing in the Seattle area. Dr. Egrari is only interested in creating noses that appear natural. He does not believe in a cookie-cutter approach. He believes that every nose needs to be different and as unique as the patient.

You May Be A Candidate For Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)...

  • If you have an abnormal appearance of the nose as a result of genes, injury, or disease.
  • If your nose is overlarge, droops, has a bulbous tip, bump, hump, or other cosmetic flaw.
  • If your nose is cosmetically unattractive or does not fit with other facial features.
  • If a previous rhinoplasty did not deliver the look you envisioned.
  • If you have an ethnically wide or flat nose

Surgical Approaches To Rhinoplasty

There are two basic surgical approaches to our rhinoplasty in Bellevue procedure:

The open approach

An incision is made across the columella (the narrow strip of tissue that separates the nostrils).

The open approach allows Dr. Egrari to have direct visibility, better access, and greater precision in altering the shape of the nasal tissues. The incision across the columella can be expertly placed so that surgical scar is barely visible.

The closed approach

All incisions are made inside the nose. This technique has the advantages of no visible scarring, less operative time, less post-operative swelling, and faster recovery. When you come to the luxurious, patient-focused Egrari Plastic Surgery Center in Bellevue for a consultation, Dr. Egrari will discuss your treatment goals, evaluate your anatomy, and tailor an individual surgical plan for your nose job in Seattle.

Intended Results

  • To achieve a more attractive shape
  • To give the nose balance and better proportion with the other facial features
  • To maintain a natural hint of ethnicity and genetic baseline

Surgical Technique

Rhinoplasty is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. There are various approaches to our rhinoplasty in Seattle. These include open or a closed technique depending on the architecture of the nose and the relative technical difficulty of the procedure.

All aspects of the nose can be reshaped. Specific attention is given to the relationship of the width, length, and the tip of the nose.

Occasionally, a functional defect such as a deviated septum will be addressed.

Additional Benefits Of Rhinoplasty

If you are unhappy with the size, shape, or appearance of your nose, getting the nose you want can make you feel more like yourself and provide you with a higher level of self-confidence. Our Seattle rhinoplasty surgery provides many benefits, including:

Facial balance and aesthetics

Correcting the nose can enhance the entire face. As the dominant facial feature, the nose can dramatically affect the appearance of the surrounding features. By correcting the nose, a rhinoplasty can restore facial balance, aesthetics, and symmetry.

Improved breathing

Rhinoplasty can improve overall nasal function and air flow.

This can mean better sleep, less snoring, more energy during the day, and an improved quality of life.

Better voice quality

As the breathing is improved, our Seattle nose job surgery can create positive changes in the sound of the patient’s voice.

Your voice may be clearer with less nasal tone after you recover from the procedure.

Other Options And InformationOn Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)

Additional procedures that may enhance the results of nose surgery include an eyelid lift, brow lift, forehead lift, chin augmentation, lip augmentation, and laser skin resurfacing. One of the hallmarks of a rhinoplasty performed by Bellevue plastic surgeon Dr. Egrari is the natural, beautiful balance and harmony brought to your facial features. A nose that has obviously been surgically altered is not attractive and appears unnatural. You need a true artist to perform this procedure correctly. Rhinoplasty is one of the most sensitive and complex plastic surgery operations. Therefore, it should be performed at a world-class, accredited surgical center where many nose procedures are performed each month.

Dr. Egrari and his staff have years of skill and experience in delivering excellent results with our Seattle nose job. It’s important that factors such as ethnic variation and feminine versus masculine traits of a nose are carefully evaluated and analyzed so that you look like yourself — just more appealing. Dr. Egrari’s skills and experience with rhinoplasty can give you arguably the best nose job Seattle and Bellevue have to offer.

PRACTICE POLICY UPDATE FOR CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19):

Updated May 2022
We have been fully operational since May of 2020. This includes skincare and our non-invasive center (ENIC).
We know that so much of this pandemic caused an inconvenience for you, but we are delighted to see a return to normalcy.
We will continue to be vigilant in our approach to Covid 19. For over two decades, we have considered safety as our most important prerogative — and there has never been a more important time to put that to use.
Here are some things we’re doing to ensure you are protected and that we maintain this facility as a Non-Covid Care (NCC) zone:

Patient Flow and Clinical Office Space

We now have a well-tested protocol of texting patients for control of flow for consultations.
We are assigning everyone to hourly wipe-downs of high-use areas with approved sanitizing wipes.
We are asking that no one wait in the waiting area.
We are coming up with protocols for room wipe-downs after each patient visit.
Every staff member will always wear a mask while in the office.
Every staff member will sanitize or wash hands after every interaction.
Implementation of virtual pre-ops, nursing visits, and questions.

Operating Room Experience

Similar precautions and questionnaires will be provided to establish Covid-19 Clear Status.
All staff will always wear a mask. All staff will always wear gloves.
Hand washing will be done for any patient interaction.
Specific wipe-down of our operating room, recovery, and pre-op areas will be performed.
We will minimize accompanying caretakers to only one. Those caretakers will be treated just like the patients.
Anesthesia Experience
Every anesthesia staff will wear goggles and other protective equipment during intubation.
Our anesthesiologists have been fully trained and are implementing all precautions for prevention of Covid-19 spread.
All circuits will be changed between each patient.
Full wipe-down of surfaces and floors will be performed.
We will implement a time-out protocol to confirm the Covid-19 Clear Status of every patient.

As you can see, we are taking this very seriously. We fully understand that this will cause some inconvenience in the short term, but realize that it is for the best.
Although Covid-19 has been a serious issue, we are seeing a resumption of normalcy. We continue to monitor this situation on a real-time basis, and we will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
When you see us in action, you’ll realize that you have put your trust in the right practice.
