At Egrari Plastic Surgery and Non-Invasive Center we all believe in the power of science. As the new year has turned so have the prospects of hope for Covid-19. Three vaccines have obtained emergency use approval and our Nation is busy at work vaccinating the different phases of our population.
Dr. Egrari was vaccinated on December 30, 2020. The rest of the staff at EPSC was vaccinated in the first week of January 2021. Our anesthesia staff has also been fully vaccinated. We strongly believe in the efficacy and safety of the vaccine.

Safety And Efficacy Of The BNT162B2 MRNA Covid-19 Vaccine (NEJM)
The Pfizer/BioNTech SARS-CoV-2 spike protein mRNA vaccine was 95% efficacious in preventing symptomatic COVID-19 after two doses. Similar vaccine efficacy was observed by age, sex, race, ethnicity, baseline body-mass index, and the presence of coexisting conditions. There were no serious safety concerns in the more than 20,000 patients in the treatment arm.
Efficacy And Safety Of The MRNA-1273 SARS-COV-2 Vaccine (NEJM)
The Moderna vaccine showed 94.1% efficacy in preventing Covid-19 IllnessAside from transient local reaction, no safety concerns were identified in more than 15,000 patients who were in the treatment arm.
