Your thigh area can look trim, taut, youthful and attractive – or overlarge, loose, and dimpled. When the thighs have accumulated excess fat, and lost the firmness associated with youth, our thigh lift in Seattle procedure can restore a sculpted look to your lower body.

Who is a candidate for a thigh lift procedure?

If you have lost the youthful firm look in your thighs, and they appear loose, flabby, or overlarge.

If you desire improvement of the quality of the surface of your thighs from an earlier liposuction treatment or want to address the dimpling of cellulite deposits.

If you are at a stable weight. A thigh lift is not performed as a weight loss procedure, and you should not anticipate any significant weight increases or decreases after undergoing this procedure.

If you have lost a significant amount of weight and have excess skin of the thighs

Intended Result

  • Bring out the contour of the thigh that you desire.
  • Improve the quality of the skin by alleviating the appearance of dimples and cellulite.
  • Reduce pockets of stubborn fat on the thighs that have resisted your efforts with dieting and exercise.
  • Bring balance and more appeal to your appearance by reducing volume in the thighs for a more pleasing, attractive look.

Description of the Thigh Lift Procedure:

  • During an outer thigh lift, a bikini line incision that goes from the back to the sides of your upper buttock area is made. Significant attention is paid to create an incision like that hides under a bikini or revealing undergarments.
  • If you have an inner thigh lift, an incision is placed in the groin area. For patients who have lost a lot of weight and have significant skin excess, an incision will be made down the inner part of the thigh past the knees.
  • In both cases, the length of the incision will vary based on the extent of tissue and fat to be removed.
  • Dr. Egrari uses extreme care and precision to reduce the risk of visible scars. Most scars will appear as a very thin line, almost invisible, after full recovery, and will be hidden under the most revealing clothing.
  • Liposuction is often employed improve the shape and loosen skin to allow for thigh reshaping. Dr. Egrari uses one of the most advanced liposuction devices to increase effectiveness and speed recovery time.
  • The outer thighs are elevated and reshaped.
  • In an inner thigh lift, the skin and fat are reshaped so the inner area of the upper legs appears youthful, slim and trim.
  • Occasionally fat transfer is used to improve thigh skin quality and reduce dimpling. Fat is harvested and added to smooth out any depressions for a smoother look.
  • A fat transfer procedure is both safe and effective, providing long-lasting results that look and feel natural.
  • This is an outpatient plastic surgery procedure performed under general anesthesia.
  • Whether you have an outer or inner thigh lift, the procedure typically takes 2 to 3 hours to complete, after which you can return home to rest and recover.

Recuperation and Healing after a Thigh Lift:

  • All sutures are under the skin and many patients will not require drains.
  • Most individuals take a week off work and resume exercise in about 4 weeks.
  • The discomfort can be well controlled with oral analgesics.
  • Results from your thigh lift will be apparent almost immediately, but will continue to improve as you heal, with a final look of thinner, more athletic looking thighs, balanced and beautiful.
  • You should continue to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen to preserve your more attractive body contour in the years ahead.
  • The final result is often seen at about 2-3 months, and you can enjoy your firm, contoured thighs and more attractive figure.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Updated March 30, 2020

After today’s National recommendation for extension of social distancing, and in line with our states “Stay Home Stay Healthy” mandate we have decided to suspend all non-essential daily services of Egrari Plastic Surgery Center and Egrari Non Invasive Center (ENIC) until May 4, 2020. Governor Jay Inslee has issued Proclamation 43.06.220 prohibiting elective surgery, including all cosmetic surgery, taking effect immediately and remaining in effect until May 18, 2020. Although these have been very difficult turn of the events, as it shuts down our practice, it is being done for the right reasons. Elective operations are placing undue burden on the supply chain of our health care system at a time of grave crisis. This is especially true for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) – gowns, masks, gloves, and swabs. Also, social distancing appears to be the only way we can fight this pandemic. At a time like this we all have got to place the interest of the public above and beyond our own. We must also do everything in our power to assist in the fight with Covid-19.

We also ask for your patience in the rescheduling process. Without any exception our patients have been kind, gracious and understanding. We sincerely appreciate your indulgence in this very difficult time.

Your health and well-being and that of our staff are so important to us and we want to do our part to make sure that everyone is protected.

Effective immediately the following will occur:

  • All elective surgical cases will be suspended until May 18, 2020.
  • All ENIC procedures and consultations will be suspended till May 4, 2020. This will be re-evaluated constantly.
  • All skin care services will be suspended till April 8, 2020. This will be re-evaluated constantly.
  • The office will be open (Monday to Thursday 9-4:30); however, we have asked all non-essential staff to work remotely. We will continue to see our urgent post-surgical follow ups.
  • We are instituting Virtual Consultations for our large inquiry base.
  • All surgeries that have been canceled have been rescheduled.
  • No patient will ever have any financial recourse for rescheduling their procedures.

We are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and will always place your health and well-being as our top priority.

We have also offered our facility as a possible field medical unit should there be a need. We have an operating room that can be a well-equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed. Our recovery facility and exam rooms can house up to 6 patients. We are also looking at all our inventory and determining the items, especially PPE, that can be donated to our local health care system.

We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by CDC. These include:

  • Staff have been fully informed and trained to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • All staff, vendors and ancillary personnel are being asked to refrain from coming to this office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Every patient is also being asked to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms.
  • Any patient that comes to our office will have their temperature checked.
  • We are asking our patients about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing continues to be the most important mode of prevention. Although it is a part of what we constantly do, now we are doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • We have instituted a “no handshakes no hug” policy for now.
  • We have asked all vendors that any unnecessary meetings are canceled until further notice.
  • Any exit and entrance from our office are followed by a protocol of changing shoes, scrubs and sanitization.
  • All deliveries are opened in our distribution center and only opened products are brought into our facility.
  • As we are an accredited medical facility, we are constantly sanitizing all surfaces. We have now vamped that up and are routinely, multiple times a day, wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities. We have assigned a person that does so on a constant basis.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this Country even better than it currently is. We are monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
