Digital Simulation

This is the age of Google and Mars exploration. We don’t describe, we show. At The Egrari Plastic Surgery Center, we are dedicated to showcase the possibilities via a series of high-tech applications on our electronic platforms so that you, the patient, can visualize the outcomes. We are able to show you what injectables in your laugh lines (nasolabial folds) look like, or what your nose will look like after a delicate rhinoplasty. What will your breasts look like after breast augmentation? We can show you that, too. We think descriptions are archaic and draconian. Again, we don’t tell — we show.

At The Egrari Plastic Surgery Center, we believe in being avant-garde and ahead of the curve. Come discover an array of displays that take the guesswork out of the equation. We are dedicated to providing multi-faceted information, as we believe information is power. Our highly sophisticated photography technology allows us to use some of the most powerful techniques available to show simulation of the outcome.

Like Vectra® which is in 3D, our imaging simulation can show a variety of outcomes in 2D and can assist the patient in seeing the reality of their future.

Canfield Imaging has been at the forefront of medical photography, and we are proudly showcasing some of the best equipment and software that they have produced.

Vectra 3D: Sculpt Your Dreams

Your Vectra 3D simulation experience begins with a picture session in our office. This creates the starting point for your aesthetic consultation. Using special simulation software on your 3D picture, Dr. Egrari will show you the possible results of the aesthetic procedures you may choose to have.

You will be able to experiment with different looks until you find the one you want. Once you have decided on the appearance you want, this simulation will provide a basis for your surgical plan. Because you have already seen the result, you can be confident in the outcome of the procedure.

Vectra 3D Simulation

The Vectra 3D simulation technology that Dr. Egrari will use was developed by Canfield Imaging Systems, a division of Canfield Scientific — the leading provider of clinical imaging systems. Canfield specializes in photographic applications for aesthetic medicine, and their products are used in patient consultations by thousands of practitioners worldwide.

Vectra-3D Procedures

The Vectra 3d Camera

The Vectra 3D camera captures a three-dimensional photograph of the subject. Using multiple cameras, it takes a number of pictures simultaneously from several different points of view. This is used to build a three-dimensional virtual model of the subject.

Sculptor 3d Software

Sculptor software processes the three-dimensional photograph and displays the virtual model on a computer monitor. This image can be rotated on the screen and viewed from almost any angle. The software then allows Dr. Egrari to apply simulation tools that change the size, shape, and position of your breasts to achieve the desired appearance. Once you are satisfied with the result, Dr. Egrari will develop a surgical plan based on the changes you have made.

Updated May 2022
We have been fully operational since May of 2020. This includes skincare and our non-invasive center (ENIC).
We know that so much of this pandemic caused an inconvenience for you, but we are delighted to see a return to normalcy.
We will continue to be vigilant in our approach to Covid 19. For over two decades, we have considered safety as our most important prerogative — and there has never been a more important time to put that to use.
Here are some things we’re doing to ensure you are protected and that we maintain this facility as a Non-Covid Care (NCC) zone:

Patient Flow and Clinical Office Space

We now have a well-tested protocol of texting patients for control of flow for consultations.
We are assigning everyone to hourly wipe-downs of high-use areas with approved sanitizing wipes.
We are asking that no one wait in the waiting area.
We are coming up with protocols for room wipe-downs after each patient visit.
Every staff member will always wear a mask while in the office.
Every staff member will sanitize or wash hands after every interaction.
Implementation of virtual pre-ops, nursing visits, and questions.

Operating Room Experience

Similar precautions and questionnaires will be provided to establish Covid-19 Clear Status.
All staff will always wear a mask. All staff will always wear gloves.
Hand washing will be done for any patient interaction.
Specific wipe-down of our operating room, recovery, and pre-op areas will be performed.
We will minimize accompanying caretakers to only one. Those caretakers will be treated just like the patients.
Anesthesia Experience
Every anesthesia staff will wear goggles and other protective equipment during intubation.
Our anesthesiologists have been fully trained and are implementing all precautions for prevention of Covid-19 spread.
All circuits will be changed between each patient.
Full wipe-down of surfaces and floors will be performed.
We will implement a time-out protocol to confirm the Covid-19 Clear Status of every patient.

As you can see, we are taking this very seriously. We fully understand that this will cause some inconvenience in the short term, but realize that it is for the best.
Although Covid-19 has been a serious issue, we are seeing a resumption of normalcy. We continue to monitor this situation on a real-time basis, and we will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
When you see us in action, you’ll realize that you have put your trust in the right practice.
