Our Brazilian butt lift in Seattle has gained in popularity in recent years, and produces a more pleasing, hourglass body profile. The procedure is unusual in that it involves the use of your own fat – which has the added benefit of resculpting the body in the areas from which natural fat is harvested.

Benefits of a Brazilian Buttock Lift

  • Your own fat is used to enhance the look of your buttocks, so you will not need any foreign implants or fillers to achieve the rounder look you desire. The use of your own fat cells also eliminates the risk of rejection since your body will easily accepts its own cells.
  • You can have unwanted fat removed from specific areas that may be hard to reduce with diet and exercise, combining the benefits of fat removal with a butt lift. When the fat removal is performed near the abdomen, flanks, or legs, it can also further enhance the results of your buttock lift for a slimmer, more contoured backside.
  • The procedure is performed using injections and doesn’t require the same aftercare as a surgical buttock lift, so recovery time is typically less than other options.
  • Risks associated with a Brazilian Buttock Lift are generally minor because of the minimally invasive nature of the procedure, which leads to a smoother, faster recovery.
  • Using your own fat cells will produce rounder buttocks that look and feel natural!
  • Advanced aesthetic techniques allow us to feminize buttocks and thighs combined.

Description of Brazilian Buttock Lift procedure:

  • This relatively non-invasive procedure involves removing fat from the flanks, abdomen, and inner thighs. This process is not only to harvest the fat, but goes on to shape the areas around the buttock.
  • Using state-of-the-art equipment, the fat is purified and injected into the specifically targeted areas of the buttock. These areas are determined by Dr. Egrari, and are based on a detailed analysis of the patient’s pre-operative anatomy and their ultimate expectations.
  • The incisions are virtually invisible as the fat is injected by very small instruments. The fat is injected into many different layers to provide the smoothest, most natural-looking results, free from irregularities. Incisions are closed under the skin with absorbable sutures.
  • The skin is taped, and a garment is placed near the injection sites to facilitate healing and support the rounder, firmer shape of your buttocks.
  • This is a Seattle plastic surgery outpatient procedure done under general anesthesia.

Recovery After a Brazilian Buttock Lift:

  • Patients are ambulatory after the operation but should avoid sitting or lying on the back for the time period Dr. Egrari advises.
  • A garment is provided that will help the fat cells transferred to become viable, and needs to be worn for 4 weeks. Also a special pillow—BBL pillow—is provided that allows sitting after the initial recuperation.
  • There is minimal discomfort, and no drains, making your recovery far faster than many procedures.
  • Most patients take 10 days off work and resume exercise in 3-4 weeks.
  • You are advised to find a comfortable sleeping position on your stomach during your recovery.
  • The final result is often seen in about 4-6 weeks, and you can enjoy the look of your plump, round, more attractive buttocks.
  • You will have follow-up appointments to monitor your healing process.
  • The use of your body’s own fat cells leads to long-lasting results. Some patients still enjoy their enhanced buttocks after twenty years!

Other Options for Body Enhancement with a Brazilian Buttock Lift

  • Liposuction of the surrounding areas — including the flanks, inner thighs and abdomen — is essential in the overall re-contouring of the buttocks. Individuals who choose this procedure must have some areas of excess fat to allow for harvest.
  • Buttock implants are an alternative for patients who want larger buttocks and do not have excess fat to harvest. Occasionally, implants are used with our Brazilian butt lift in Bellevue procedure as a combined operation.
  • Individuals who have excess skin will need excisional operations such as a lower body lift, posterior body lift or a pure buttock lift. Occasionally, a portion of the patient’s own tissue is used to shift volume into the buttocks — Autologous Augmentation Gluteoplasty.
  • Women who are seeking a complete body rejuvenation may also undergo breast lift or breast augmentation in Bellevue.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Updated March 30, 2020

After today’s National recommendation for extension of social distancing, and in line with our states “Stay Home Stay Healthy” mandate we have decided to suspend all non-essential daily services of Egrari Plastic Surgery Center and Egrari Non Invasive Center (ENIC) until May 4, 2020. Governor Jay Inslee has issued Proclamation 43.06.220 prohibiting elective surgery, including all cosmetic surgery, taking effect immediately and remaining in effect until May 18, 2020. Although these have been very difficult turn of the events, as it shuts down our practice, it is being done for the right reasons. Elective operations are placing undue burden on the supply chain of our health care system at a time of grave crisis. This is especially true for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) – gowns, masks, gloves, and swabs. Also, social distancing appears to be the only way we can fight this pandemic. At a time like this we all have got to place the interest of the public above and beyond our own. We must also do everything in our power to assist in the fight with Covid-19.

We also ask for your patience in the rescheduling process. Without any exception our patients have been kind, gracious and understanding. We sincerely appreciate your indulgence in this very difficult time.

Your health and well-being and that of our staff are so important to us and we want to do our part to make sure that everyone is protected.

Effective immediately the following will occur:

  • All elective surgical cases will be suspended until May 18, 2020.
  • All ENIC procedures and consultations will be suspended till May 4, 2020. This will be re-evaluated constantly.
  • All skin care services will be suspended till April 8, 2020. This will be re-evaluated constantly.
  • The office will be open (Monday to Thursday 9-4:30); however, we have asked all non-essential staff to work remotely. We will continue to see our urgent post-surgical follow ups.
  • We are instituting Virtual Consultations for our large inquiry base.
  • All surgeries that have been canceled have been rescheduled.
  • No patient will ever have any financial recourse for rescheduling their procedures.

We are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and will always place your health and well-being as our top priority.

We have also offered our facility as a possible field medical unit should there be a need. We have an operating room that can be a well-equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed. Our recovery facility and exam rooms can house up to 6 patients. We are also looking at all our inventory and determining the items, especially PPE, that can be donated to our local health care system.

We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by CDC. These include:

  • Staff have been fully informed and trained to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • All staff, vendors and ancillary personnel are being asked to refrain from coming to this office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Every patient is also being asked to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms.
  • Any patient that comes to our office will have their temperature checked.
  • We are asking our patients about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing continues to be the most important mode of prevention. Although it is a part of what we constantly do, now we are doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • We have instituted a “no handshakes no hug” policy for now.
  • We have asked all vendors that any unnecessary meetings are canceled until further notice.
  • Any exit and entrance from our office are followed by a protocol of changing shoes, scrubs and sanitization.
  • All deliveries are opened in our distribution center and only opened products are brought into our facility.
  • As we are an accredited medical facility, we are constantly sanitizing all surfaces. We have now vamped that up and are routinely, multiple times a day, wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities. We have assigned a person that does so on a constant basis.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this Country even better than it currently is. We are monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
