To initiate the RF energy into your skin, Morpheus8 utilizes microneedling; a procedure in which tiny needles are injected into your skin using a small handheld device. These needles penetrate the skin and cause imperceptible micro-injuries. The micro-injuries in the treated area will initiate the body’s natural healing process, helping to develop and generate new skin cells.

What Is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is an FDA-approved microneedling device used to help remodel and contour the face and body, using microneedles to penetrate deeply into the skin and fat. This results in smoother, more beautiful skin.

The device pairs microneedling with RF energy, a scientifically proven method to direct heat into the lower level of the skin, triggering the skin to produce more collagen; thus reducing wrinkles and other skin concerns. It is a minimally invasive, using micro-pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.

Because Morpheus8 targets the deeper layers of the skin with RF energy, collagen and elastin (your skin’s natural building blocks) are activated. This regrows smoother, firmer, and younger skin.

Will The Morpheus8 Treatment Hurt?

Although Morpheus8 uses needles, they are so fine that the procedure is not usually painful. Patients describe any discomfort they experience to be very tolerable. Our team at Egrari Non-Invasive Center will also apply a numbing cream to help ensure your comfort during the treatment session. Your skin may be visibly red upon leaving the treatment, but you can resume activities as usual.

After your treatment, you can get right back to your usual routine. Moisturize the treatment area, be sure to avoid direct sun exposure, and use sunscreen daily.

You can apply makeup the day after your treatment. You can expect to see micro-lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to one week.

How Soon Should I Expect To See The Results?

You will begin to see results in a few days. After about three weeks, more significant results will appear. These improvements continue for up to three months after treatment, as your body continues to build fresh new skin.
