At the pre-op meeting, you will receive prescriptions for the convenience and assurance of having them filled prior to the operation. You will meet with our scheduling coordinators to receive final instructions, directions, and pre-operative supplements. At this time, you will also meet with our financial coordinator to finalize your surgical fee(s).
It is our mission to assure that when you leave the pre-operative meeting, you will know that your safety concerns are our utmost priority — throughout the entire pre-operative, operative and post-operative processes.
The Egrari Plastic Surgery Center works with Vital RNs to provide post-operative nursing care, should you choose this option.
Vital RNs are registered nurses specializing in attentive and skilled post-operative nursing care. Because of our professional experience we are able to anticipate your needs and ensure your safety. We implement your doctor’s orders including pain control, incisional care, management of drains, monitoring for complications, and teaching you how to care for yourself in the days to come. You can maximize your outcome without impacting family and friends. Our clients have been enthusiastically pleased with our care, and we frequently serve them after subsequent procedures. Visit Vital RNs for more information.
At Egrari Plastic Surgery Center we want to provide our patients with easy access to all of post-operative necessities. Here we have provided information on products and options to create to ensure a swift and comfortable recovery.
Optimal Nutrition For Plastic Surgery Patients
Nowadays, many patients take nutritional supplements in increasing amounts. While generally safe, their use around the time of surgery may not be desirable. VitaMedica’s surgery supplements have been specially formulated to eliminate any nutrients that may have an adverse effect on your outcome. This improves surgical safety.
VitaMedica’s surgery supplements also provide nutrients that support internal wound care by enhancing the body’s natural mechanisms for repair and healing. This helps to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
All of our Bellevue facial cosmetic surgery patients will be provided with a supply of appropriate VitaMedica supplements in their pre-operative visits. Please check with our Patient Care Coordinator to determine which nutritional products would be optimum for your desired outcome. They are also available for purchase if you would like an extra boost in your recovery process for other procedures.

Depending on your procedure you will get an order form with instructions for your silicone scar treatments. We have a few different options:
This is a silicone gel treatment that is used as an alternative for those who undergo arm lift procedures. Because this is such a hard area to keep a silicone sheeting over the scar, we apply bioCorneum silicone gel to the scar instead.
Several studies have shown that the use of silicone sheeting can greatly reduce the thickness of scars if used properly and at the correct stage of the healing process. We use Implantech Gelzone wraps for body procedures such as the Lower Body Lift. For other procedures like, Breast Enhancement and Tummy Tucks we like to use Oleeva.

All garments needed for your procedure(s) are provided the day of surgery. All additional garments can be purchased here in our office or online. If you order your garment online, be sure that you are purchasing the correct garment—wearing the wrong garment can effect your healing process and even your results.

EXPAREL is a non-narcotic local analgesic. It is administered during your procedure directly into the surgical site. A single application of EXPAREL is long lasting.
EXPAREL is also proven to help patients use fewer narcotics as they start their recovery.
Products that contain bupivacaine, the active ingredient in EXPAREL, may cause temporary numbness in the area injected.

We encourage every patient to eat well and be healthy, especially those who plan to take on extensive procedures.
Nutrition is one of the most important components for maximizing the healing and recovery process and the long term physical results of your surgical procedure. A healthy diet is rich in whole foods, optimizes digestion and absorption of nutrients, minimizes inflammation and speeds healing. Improving your nutritional status and lifestyle habits can positively affect your entire surgical experience.
For these reasons Egrari Plastic Surgery Center has partnered with Certified Nutritionist, Angela Pifer.
Angela’s unique programs offer you unparalleled support through day to day guidance, structure and accountability. At the end of the day, it’s all about results.
To ensure that your diet and lifestyle habits will sustain your cosmetic results, health, and vitality long term, Egrari Plastic Surgery Center strongly suggests that our patients engage in a customized nutrition program with Angela.
Nutritional guidelines and meal plans will be made available to you at your appointment.
