COSMETIC SURGERY INSURANCE
You have made a wise decision by choosing Egrari Plastic Surgery Center to perform your cosmetic surgery. Selecting a board-certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with your procedure helps assure that your surgical experience will be a positive one with a beneficial and satisfying outcome. However, it’s important to remember that just like any surgery, cosmetic surgery is a serious medical procedure and carries the risk of unforeseen complications.
CosmetAssure is an easily affordable program that provides peace of mind by protecting cosmetic surgery patients from the unexpected financial burden that may arise if any post-surgery complications develop. The plan is endorsed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is available only through surgeons who are members of this prestigious organization.
Who needs CosmetAssure?
Even if you already have health insurance, you will probably discover that it doesn’t cover complications associated with the surgery you are considering. The majority of medical insurance policies exclude payment for treatment of complications related to elective cosmetic procedures, even when it is medically necessary. So, anyone who is planning cosmetic surgery would be wise to join CosmetAssure.
CosmetAssure offers protection for unforeseen complications in connection with any one of 17 common plastic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, reduction and reconstruction; face, nose and eyelid surgery; tummy tucks; body lifts; and gynecomastia.
In the event that complications should develop following cosmetic surgery, CosmetAssure covers many of the expenses that could be involved, including hospitalization, ambulance services and follow-up medical appointments. Here is a list of the covered procedures:
- Arm Contouring
- Breast Augmentation
- Revisional Breast Implant Procedures
