On-Q Pain Pump in Seattle and Bellevue

Dr. Egrari has been using this pioneering procedure for patients who desire a more comfortable post-operative period.

Briefly, On-Q pain pump is a device that is attached to two small catheters. These are placed in the abdominal wall and provide a route for continuous infusion of local anesthesia. This in turn numbs the most uncomfortable areas of the abdomen for the first three days.

The pump is worn in a small pack and carried around with the patient during this time. The pump and its attached catheter are removed from the patient in 3 days.
