Angela has a unique approach to helping her patients create new healthier habits, offering customized nutrition programs that inspire and educate, and provides them with an environment of support and accountability to help them become fit and fabulous from the inside out. She combines her education, experience and training to develop behavioral and cognitive based programs that work. "These programs, along with the ongoing support they receive from me, help my patients overcome years of emotional eating and achieve long term weight loss," says Angela. She founded Nutrition Northwest Co. in 2005 (formerly The Nourished Body); the premier provider of sound nutrition and wellness advice in the Northwest with offices in Seattle and Kirkland. She also specializes in healing digestive conditions, helping patients to navigate food sensitivities and runs individual and group detoxification programs. Angela earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington and a MS in Nutrition from Bastyr University. While at the University of Washington she attained pre-med status, training in motivational interviewing, with a focus on eating disorders. Angela teaches at Bastyr University, serves on the Cancer Care Auxiliary for Overlake Hospital and is the Detox Program Director for her current project, the documentary Pursuit of a Green Planet.
