Laser Hair Removal

The Egrari Plastic Surgery Center provides world-class laser hair removal service in the Seattle and Bellevue area.We offer the most recent advances in laser hair removal for patients desiring to effectively remove unwanted hair. Laser therapy is a tested, clinically proven method of hair removal. The treatment is quick and painless. Our patients who desire the beauty of hair-free skin can now have the sheer, smooth appearance that they have always wanted.

How do our lasers remove hair?

We use the Coherent LightSheer™ Diode Laser System, the first FDA cleared laser for permanent hair reduction (April 1999). The Diode Laser targets the dark follicles of the hair, and by a patented ChillTip™ Technology cools the skin and attacks the follicle. Through compression and selective emission of the Laser energy the surrounding skin is spared and the follicle is addressed. This unique and state of the art laser system is one of the few that can be used in individuals with dark skin.

Also introducing The Profile™ Laser from Sciton.
Approved by the FDA.
A new approach to laser hair removal.

The Profile contains infrared laser that can selectively target microstructures such as hair follicle. It is very effective with lighter color skin however it can also be effective with darker skin and tanned complexion. The safe lasering of tanned and dark skin makes this laser truly unique in the approach for hair removal.

Laser Hair Removal is a procedure for both men and women.Who is a candidate?

  • If you are concerned about unwanted hair, you are probably a good candidate. The most dramatic results occur in patients who have light complexion with dark hair. However The Diode LightSheer™ is one of the only lasers that can be used in individuals with dark skin.

Is the laser treatment painful?

  • Most patients describe the treatment, as a series of slight pinpricks to the skin. The majority of patients require no form of anesthesia.  Within 30 minutes the treated area becomes pink or red, and this may last from a few hours to one day.

How many treatments are required?

  • Hair grows in cycles. The laser only affects hair when it is in its early-growth phase. The laser will disable follicles that are actively producing hair at the time of treatment. Repeated sessions will treat these follicles when they re-enter the growth phase.

Our skin care division has an active role in laser hair removal. All laser hair removal procedures are done under the guidance of Dr. Egrari.

Unveil the beauty of your skin.
